How to request the Express NOA in Part E of Form T183
Important notice When your client completes Part E of Form T183 to have his notice of assessment or reassessment made available electronically to you, the CRA will not send you or your client a paper copy of the notice of assessment or reassessment. If your client is registered to receive email notifications from the CRA, your client will receive an email notification to inform him that there is online mail available to view in CRA's My Account. After you download the Express Notice of Assessment, you will always have access to it in the Data Entry screen, so you can share it with your client. DT Max stores the path of the archived file in the keyword NOA-File-Name (in the keyword group Progress "Assessment notice received – federal"). Users of DT Client Portal or Onvio can securely send the notice of assessment to their clients using either of these cloud-based products. The Express Notice of Assessment is also delivered in the Tax return section of DT Max. You can save or email the Notice of Assessment as a PDF file. You can also print Notices of Assessment in batches by using a customized destination found in Printing options.
